Do I have to be good at cycling?

No. That is the great thing about using spin bikes or b-cycle classes to improve your fitness. Everyone can do it, but most people just need to warm up to the idea if cycling is not usually their thing. Go at your own pace and see how it goes.

Do you have a beginner's class?

No. We do not have beginners class, but first timers get looked after in every class by the class instructor. Just make sure you arrive 15 minutes early for your first class, and we’ll make sure to give you extra attention.

How often should I go?

We recommend five classes per week as an optimal number and mixing it between all of the other services provided. Three classes per week at a minimum, if you are committed to seeing a real change in your body and your energy levels. Many Bodyjunkies clients take more than five classes a week, but we always recommend incorporating some rest, especially if you are just starting out. Listen to your body — if your muscles are very sore, you can always attend a yoga class that is also part of the Bodyjunkies service. If you are unsure about what you should be doing to reach your goal send the team an email : and we can tailor something to fit your needs.

How long will it take to see results?

Bodyjunkies clients see results quickly. If you are going 3-5 times a week, you should start to see and feel a change in your body in 2 weeks. People close to you will probably see a difference in 5 weeks, and your friends will probably notice in 2-3 months (results can also be achieved a lot quicker if you maintain a healthy balanced diet in conjunction to the regular exercise).

Are Bodyjunkies classes fun?

"fun" is definitely an understatement. Bodyjunkies classes are run by instructors who bring their energy, personality and experience to make every session as upbeat and enjoyable— while still making sure you work your socks off.

Do you offer special rates for first time users?

We do not offer special rates for first time users, but occasionally we will hold special promotions and invite you to join our mailing list to ensure you never miss out on an offer. In the mean time we would love for you to come down to our studio for a tour and experience first-hand what Bodyjunkies is all about.

How do I pay online?

We have two options available, we have an app that you can download from your app store or you can head over to our website. You can register for an account if you are new, or login and add your credit card details. We’ll save your card details for future purchases.

How can I see how many classes I have left on my package?

Sign into your account — you’ll see all of your account information on there.

What options do I have for buying classes?

You have two options — buy packs of classes or sign up for a membership, depending on the kind of relationship you’re ready to have with us. As you’d expect, the more you commit, the more you save. Packages are best if you want to keep it casual… maybe you’re still experimenting, or your life’s just a bit complicated. Use your classes whenever it suits you. If you want to reach your goals faster, it’s best to commit. Decide how many times you’ll come per week and sign up for a membership that matches up with your goals.

I'm having problems with my account.

First of all, try the basics:

  • If you’ve forgotten your password, follow the link on the login page to set up a new one.
  • Make sure your credit card is still valid.
  • Update your web browser if you need to.
  • If you’re really stuck, email or call the studio or pop in and ask for help.

How do memberships work?

The best way to reach your goals is to make a commitment to yourself — decide how many times a week you can come and buy a membership to match — three times a week, five times a week, or any time (B-monthly allows you to attend as many classes as you want within the month) The more you commit, the more you save.

Can I transfer or share my class package or membership?

Yes, Individual classes (or classes purchased as part of a class package) can be shared amongst current clients, as long as they’re used within the same market in which they were purchased. Memberships, however are non-transferable.

Can I freeze my membership?

If you commit to a membership longer than a month, you can suspend it due to doctor’s order, death, moving, or loss of job. You can also freeze it for six months (for injury) or nine months (pregnancy), although many expectant mums enjoy Bodyjunkies well into the late stages of their pregnancy (under their doctor’s supervision).

Can I book online?

Yes. We encourage it! Just create an account first online and then buy yourself some classes or a membership package. After that, you can go ahead and reserve your spot online. Make sure though when you book into the class that you check the location as some classes are based at the emirates stadium part of our boot camp classes.

What is your cancellation policy?

We know how much you love to plan, which is why we open reservations 14 days prior to the class. So you can book you space in the classes you love, and plan your week. All we ask is that if you are not going to be able to make the class, you cancel at least 6 hours prior. This allows us to make sure someone else gets that place if you can’t make it! Anything cancelled less than 6 hours before class starts is a late cancel, and you do forfeit the class as well as incur a cancellation fee.

Cancellation fee

A £15 charge will be applied to your account and you will be unable to book onto a class until the charge has been settled.

What if I miss class?

If you book a class under your membership and don’t show up, we charge you £15 no-show fee — on which ever class you booked into. If you have a class package, unfortunately, you lose your class. We know you’d never miss class on purpose and we have the right to waiver a fee incurred.

What if I'm there close to class start or late to class?

We want to be totally transparent with you: a lot goes into the final minutes before class, which is why we require you to be present five minutes before the class start time. We need that time to finalize the class list and everyone’s starting positions, as well as to accommodate the wait list and any needed moves.
If you are late to a class we have not given away your spot to the waitlist, it won’t cost you anything but a couple hundred calories. Just come on in, and try not to disturb the Bodyjunkies who have already begun their workout.

Do you allow walk-ins?

Yes, but some classes book out very quickly, so you should really check ahead of time to check out if there’s space.

What is the wait list?

Lots of our classes book out. If the class you want is booked out, you can get on our wait list. As people cancel, you will be automatically added in the order you had signed up. If you book a place 12 hours before the scheduled start time of the class, we will notify you by email. If a place doesn’t open by then, you still have a chance of getting in. Just show up at least 5 minutes before class starts and once we have our no-show count we’ll start going through the wait list in order.

Can I move my reservation?

If you are outside the 12-hour cancellation window, you can always move to another class (that’s not already booked out). If you need to move your session— but there are less than 12 hours until your scheduled class — that’s considered a cancellation and the above cancellation policy would apply. Sorry, no exceptions.

What sort of amenities are in studio?

We have showers, toilets and changing area to hang up coats we also have the junkie bar for a smoothie and some goodies for before and after workout. We provide towels for all classes but there is a £1.50 hire charge or £8 purchase fee.

Can I come in for a shake even if I'm not taking a class?

Sure. Thing.

Should I eat before class?

Protein, protein, and more protein! Try a one our protein shakes at the junkie bar. When you work your muscles hard, you are breaking down muscle and you need amino acids to repair them. This is what tones your body. More muscle means a faster metabolism, which means more calorie burn throughout the day, even when you’re not moving.

How do I order a shake from the Junkie Bar?

We allow our clients to order a shake before their workout, and it will be waiting for you when you finish your class. We’ll charge it to the card we have on file for you, and it will bear your name.

Can I work out at Bodyjunkies if I have an injury?

Ultimately that’s your choice. First, speak with your doctor about what you should and shouldn’t do. If the doctor clears you, mention your injury to the Bodyjunkies instructor when you arrive and they can help you modify the workout.

What if I’m pregnant or just had a baby?

Well, first ask your doctor. But we can tell you that we’ve had new mums come in one week after giving birth, and mums-to-be working out until days before they gave birth. Make sure your doctor knows what a Bodyjunkies workouts entails and find out what you’re cleared to do.

Is my data secure and private?

Yes, we don’t sell your info and all our systems are encrypted and secure. Our payment systems are industry standard 128-bit encryption and your account information is held in a secure environment.
