Refine Your Yoga Technique in Our B-Flow Class

Yoga is a great way to bring balance to your life, exploring exercise through a series of poses and techniques that can range from gentle to more strenuous depending on your ability. Over time, you will find that taking part in our B-Flow yoga class in our Islington Bodyjunkies studio can improve both your body’s range of flexibility and your general state of mind. Yoga is also a fantastic way to reduce and manage life's stresses, teaching you calming breathing techniques. In addition, it can be used in your day-to-day experiences.

What Should You Expect from the B-Flow Class?

Our B-Flow class is a 60-minute yoga-based class that will take you through several different poses from standing and sitting stances to floor-based techniques. The poses are designed to stretch out and rejuvenate your body while working all the major muscle groups. While the class is suitable for joiners of all ages and abilities, we do encourage our class members to work up a sweat before slowing down the pace for a peaceful finish that can help calm your mind and find a balance between mentality and body for your week ahead.

If you are concerned about your ability, we are more than happy to work with you to tailor your session to your capabilities while ensuring that you gently push yourself to achieve more week on week. After a few sessions, you’ll be sure to notice your body’s increased fitness and should soon feel ready to increase the pace.

Why Join a B-Flow Class?

There are many reasons to join a B-Flow yoga class at Bodyjunkies. Yoga can help you to increase your range of movement, build better stress barriers, reach a point of positive mental and physical balance and increase your overall fitness. Research into people who already incorporate yoga into their daily or weekly schedules found that the brain also physically improved, reducing the shrinkage that occurs to our grey matter over time. Incredibly, one study carried out on individuals over 50 years of age who were experienced in yoga found that they had a brain volume equivalent to that of a 25-year-old.

Yoga has also been shown to be an effective method of reducing depressive or anxious thoughts. While it is not a cure for mental health problems, those who take part in yoga classes regularly mention feeling happier in themselves.

There are plenty of reasons why a B-Flow class might be right for you, so why not pop along to our B-Flow yoga classes in our Islington-based fitness studio in London and see the benefits for yourself?
